Nursery Update!
There has been a decent amount of nursery progress made so I thought I'd share it with you all.
We re-painted the stripes blue. In this picture they're still wet but the dry color is about the same.
It's a pain to find dragon theme'd items for a nursery that aren't crazy expensive so I decided to go a creative/cheap route! I printed out some color pages online and broke out the crayons! all I had to do was buy the frames (they were on sale).
His closet is starting to get full! Just about every clothing item in here I bought on sale or on clearance, so we saved a ton of money there.
I just ordered the dragon mobile (thanks Michelle for posting a picture of it long time ago!)
I also bought this fabric for the window valance
This piece will be a quilt/wall hanging
And this fabric will be the crib skirt and possibly a decorative pillow.
We also bought wooden letters to put his name above the crib. I'm going to paint them the same blue as the stripes since his crib is on the green wall. We need to buy a rocker/recliner and a storage cube shelf and then I can call the nursery finished! Its such a pain to buy stuff a little at a time when I want it all NOW! LOL

Your idea with the coloring pages was brilliant. We do have one wall with nothing on it and DH keeps saying we need to put something up there. I was wanting to put some of Lily's newborn pictures up on that wall but I might have to add something like this too. Maybe a castle or something.
Where did you get the fabric for the wall hanging and other items? I'm in love with those and would love to make a baby blanket from some.

Wow, I love it all! It is such a great theme!
The only thing we've done so far is decide on the bedding (Hello Kitty Ballerina Theme) Oh and I've ordered some of my flower photographs (I love to take nature pictures) in canvases. One wall will have 4, 8x10 flower prints on it. We are using our nursery as the spare bedroom now and it won't be converted over until sometime in March or April.
